Petrol Diesel Price Today 10 October: आज देश के कुछ राज्यों में पेट्रोल और डीजल की कीमतों में गिरावट देखने को मिली है। महाराष्ट्र में पेट्रोल 0.49 रुपये गिरकर 106.36 रुपये प्रति लीटर और डीजल 0.45 रुपये गिरकर 92.88 रुपये प्रति लीटर पर आ गया है। वहीं, मध्य प्रदेश में पेट्रोल 0.27 रुपये गिरकर 109.43 रुपये प्रति लीटर और डीजल 0.24 रुपये गिरकर 95 रुपये प्रति लीटर पर आ गया है। उत्तर प्रदेश में पेट्रोल 28 पैसे सस्ता होकर 96.35  रुपये प्रति लीटर और डीजल 89.52 रुपये प्रति लीटर पर पहुंच गया है। वहीं, गुजरात, झारखंड में कीमत में बढ़ोतरी देखने को मिली है।  देश के चारों महानगरों में कीमतों में बदलाव नहीं हुआ है।

क्रूड ऑयल के दाम बढ़े

शुक्रवार को ग्लोबल बाजार में कच्चे तेल की कीमतों में गिरावट नजर आई। ब्रेंट क्रूड का भाव बढ़कर 97.74 डॉलर प्रति बैरल पर आ गया है। वहीं, डब्‍ल्‍यूटीआई 92.34 डॉलर प्रति बैरल पर पहुंच गया।

महानगरों में यह रहा दाम

दिल्ली में पेट्रोल की कीमत 96.72 रुपये प्रति लीटर है जबकि डीजल की कीमत 89.62 रुपये प्रति लीटर है। इस बीच, मुंबई में पेट्रोल और डीजल क्रमश: 106.31 रुपये और 94.27 रुपये प्रति लीटर पर बिक रहा है। जबकि, चेन्नई में पेट्रोल 102.63 रुपये प्रति लीटर और डीजल 94.24 रुपये प्रति लीटर पर बिक रहा है। कोलकाता में पेट्रोल की कीमत 106.03 रुपये प्रति लीटर और डीजल की कीमत 92.76 रुपये प्रति लीटर है।

• As the value of the U.S dollar kept declining during the first week of the month, petrol prices increased on a day-to-day basis. The dollar value declined by 0.35%, 0.04%, and 0.05% on 2, 3, and 4 of the month due to which petrol prices fluctuated and stood at Rs.74.86, Rs.74.91, and Rs.74.95 on 2, 3, and 4 of the month respectively.
• By 15 January, petrol prices surged and hit Rs.76.17. The fall in the USD by 0.14% and the increase in crude oil which was sold at $68.02 per barrel lead to the hike in petrol prices.
• The highest petrol was tracked on 30 and 31 of March when fuel was sold at Rs.78.71 per litre. This was once again due to the dollar index which fell by 0.22%.
• The overall trend of petrol price inclined by 4.94% for the month of January.

• Petrol closed at Rs.77.28 per litre for the month of February marking an overall decline curve of 2.03% in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh.

• On 18 March, petrol rate fell to Rs.77.94. Per litre. Simultaneously, USD value picked up by 0.35% and 0.03% of 19 and 20 March.
• Petrol prices picked up on 25 March and traded at Rs.78.06.
• The highest petrol price was recorded on the last day of the month when the fuel traded at Rs.79.07 per litre.
• An overall upward curve by 2.19% was noticed in the trend of petrol prices for the month of March in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.

No one controls the diesel or petrol prices in India. It all comes down to the market performance. Undoubtedly, the state and central taxes play a key role in the overall demand but it does pressurize the prices. Nevertheless, there is no one controlling it directly.
